Alex Wotherspoon

After almost 18 years of experience in the financial services sector and as the world continues to develop so rapidly, I feel that the need for our service by consumers is greater than ever before. Our role is simple; to help our clients achieve their life goals and objectives through a sophisticated process of education, detailed planning and delivering pragmatic and tangible solutions which add value. We also focus on a holistic approach to investment planning and enjoy every individual element of getting to know our clients.

My vision for ARW Wealth Management is to provide a culture that embraces personal development for our clients, staff and other business associates so that everyone concerned realises their potential. We have built a young, highly talented and client centric team who are focused on providing first class service standards now and in the future. I am very proud of them all.

My competitive nature compliments my love of rugby and boxing. Spare time is spent with my wife and 3 young children as well as enjoying good food and foreign travel.

Hannah Wotherspoon, Operations Director

Hannah Wotherspoon is Operations Director at ARW Wealth Management. Graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a first-class honours degree in marketing. With 7 years’ experience working in the financial services industry Hannah assists in providing the highest level of client service through various marketing tools along with our client service charter.

I enjoy working in the financial services sector immensely. At ARW Wealth Management we have genuine long-term relationships with our clients which allow us to provide the highest level of service. I am so proud of the team I work with, we are all highly motivated, professional and dedicated. We all work towards the same goal with our client satisfaction at the centre. No two investors are the same, each has an individual life story which we find brings us a wealth of variety into our daily tasks.

Along with my degree, I have enhanced my financial knowledge by passing the R01 exam in June 2018 which is my first step to becoming a diploma qualified paraplanner in 2020. My course will start In November 2019 which I am very much looking forward to.

In my spare time I am a mum of 3 and enjoy spending time with my husband and beautiful children. I also enjoy trips to the theatre, spending time in the great outdoors, and keeping fit.

Clients are at the very heart of the practice and finding ways to take care of them is the most fulfilling part of my role.

I am a mum of 2 girls, and I love spending my spare time with my kids, renovating my house and being creative. I also enjoy walking, meditating and practicing Tai Chi. I have a master’s degree in fine art, and I enjoy putting this into practice whenever I can.

Harley Clarke

Harley Clarke is an Associate Partner and has recently joined us at ARW Wealth Management. Graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Accounting & Finance. Harley took a post graduate job in Abu Dhabi working for one of the largest international wealth management companies. After a spell there he returned to the Manchester area and worked in personal insolvency. He is currently undertaking a rigorous training programme at St. James’s Place Wealth Management, leading to full diploma qualification to give the best possible financial advice.

I have always had a passion for financial services and have steered my learning to become the best finance professional I can be. Helping clients and friends achieve their financial goals gives me great satisfaction. The daily variety in my role is very stimulating and I find it fascinating meeting new people with different backgrounds and helping them achieve their financial goals. Building long lasting relationships is at the forefront of what I do and I believe ARW Wealth Management is the place for me to do it.

After completing the St. James’s Place Academy in May I plan to embed myself into the culture of ARW Wealth Management and then add to the great values that the company already has. I aim to deliver bespoke advice to the highest level to our clients, build relationships and add security.

When I am not working, I enjoy both watching and playing football and spending time running after my enthusiastic Pug.

Helen Johnson, Paraplanner

Helen Johnson joined ARW Wealth Management in October 2018, as a Paraplanner. Helen has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has previously worked for both Discretionary Fund Managers and Independent Advice firms. Helen assists with the research process, recommendation reports and technical queries. Helen has completed 4 out of 6 financial services exams and is highly qualified in her role.
Since joining ARW Wealth Management, I have enjoyed getting to know our clients, dealing with the variety of different financial planning requirements they have, and the research involved to provide the best solution to meet their needs.

Helen has completed, the Financial Planning Certificate, Taxation and Trusts Advanced exam and some diploma level examinations and is looking to complete her last couple of exams to complete the Diploma in 2019.

In my spare time, I am an avid reader (of no specific genre). I enjoy live music and theatre and take a keen interest in alternative holistic therapies.

Connor Hilton, Administrator

Connor originally joined the team as an apprentice and was later made full time administrator. Connor’s main role is gathering information on client pension, protection or investment policies and feeding back the vital details that help the advisers to determine the best course of action for our clients. In addition to this he frequently communicates with clients to arrange meetings, offer updates or answer questions.

The element I enjoy most about working in this field is that no two days are the same, there is a new challenge every time and no two cases that we handle are alike. Rather than trying to sell all our clients similar products, we listen to what they want and offer them the product, service or advice that best suits their situation ultimately leading to the best outcome for them, which makes the job worthwhile to me.

I’m constantly learning new things each day, and plan to continue enhancing my financial knowledge more and more for 2019 and beyond. In addition to that I hope to keep offering clients the level of service they deserve and helping ARW Wealth Management to prosper as the team continues to grow.

In my spare time I enjoy gaming, and I also have a love writing.
